ACCIDENT ON SCHOOL BUS

Peggie Free, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Free. of Makerua, suffered a very painful accident whilc returning in the school bus from Levin .yesterday afternoon. She was seated in the bus with her elbow resting on the side of an open window. While passing over" a bridge near the Ihakara Hall a truck travelling in the opposite direction struck her arm, causing severe injury. First aid treatment was rendered at Shannon and she was later taken to the Palmerston North Hospital suffering from a possible double fracture of the arm.
