Received Tuesdav 8.15 ruri. SYDNEY, Feb. 11. Hopos of a settlement in the doekyards holdux) which involves more than 6000 men, are fading and wid'espread uneiuployment is threatened in the metal trades. • Five unions are now holding out against the* settlement of the dispute. They inclnde engined rivers, firemen, builders, ironvvofkers. and boilormakcrs. The rernis put forvvard by the employers were accepted by a mass meeting of the men involved in the dispute last week and settlement was expected tomorrow but the unions have moved to consolidale their ranks.
