Work will resume in 'all Australian ports tomoiTOW under norma! conditions, followmg an agreenient reaehed- in the watersiders' dispute at a compulsory conference today in the Arbitration Uourt. After the' conference held before Mr. Justice Foster, the Federal Secretary of' the Waterside Workers' Federation, Mr. J( "Healy, announced that his union would instruct memhers to return to work at full strength tomorrow morning. Night shifts and overtime would be worked if required. The Court will hear the claim for paid holidays, Mr. Justice Foster said he would recommend that the Stevedoring Indu'st.ry Commission meet within a week to consider the c*]aim for more appearance money. He said the' dispute boiled down into a discussion as to whether holidays should be based 011 rates for 60 or 88 itours. Discussions are proceeding in camera.
