H. A. LUMSDEN THE WINNER i Last Saturday the ' Hautere Rifle Club fire'd a double ten-shot shoot at 5G(fiyards,' the second of the first round in the championship series. The wmd cnanged from left to right and required ^consistfcnt watching. The bright sunshine eausod a heavy mirage, which hampered the definition of the marksmen. President H. A. Lumsden shot consistently for 48 and 49 and was top scorer, winning Mr. F. H. Monk's trophy. Individual scores were as follows: II. A. Lumsden 48 — 49— Scr. — 97, R. Stocking 45 — 46 — 3 — 94, R. L. Dcllar 44 — 44 — Scr.— 88, N. Monk 39—44 4 87, J. Simcox 37—39—4—87 and J. Clark 29—31—16—76. Next Saturday shooting will be at 600 yards.
