The Tniernational General Electric Company has announced that the first of three giant American-made generators installed in Russia 's Dnieper Dain, has beeu run suceessfully at full speed. The test marked tlie first power operation of the dam since 1941 when the Iied Army dynamited the original gen- ( erators to deny their use to the Germans.
