FEBRUARY MEETIUG Mrs. C. Guerin presided over the Pebruary meeting of the Shann in Dranch of the Women's Division of ?'ederated Farmers. Others presmt were Mesdames K. Thomsor (secretary) , L. H. Best, G. Munford, T H. Spiers, A. E. Burling and A. R. Mills. A discusricii on the holding of a summer flower show took place vith the outcome that a meeting vill be called for Monday. Februiry 10, when it is hoped to have a :ull gathering of members to dis;uss this question;. Hostess.es ippointed for this meeting were tlesdames Best and Mills,,., .ik; The usual competitions were leld and the winners were: — Jazz >owl of flowers: Mrs. Best 1, Mrs. Vfills 2. Jam: Mrs. Mills 1. Baby's jetticoat: Mrs. Mills 1. The foundation recipe for the )est collection of biscuits, which vill be the competition for the Vlarch meeting, is 1/2 lb flour, 1/4 b butter, 1/4 lb sugar, 1 teaspoon jaking powder and 1 egg. Other jompetitions are for a hot water 3ag cover and a bowl of asters.
