WELLINGTON, Feb. 6. . Mrs. C. Watkins (Hastings) beal Mrs. Gilbert (Nelson) in the linal ot the New Zealand woinen's croquet champion.ship at Hutt today. The match consisted of three games, Mrs. Watkins winning the lirst aud tliird and Mrs. Gilbert the second. Play was up to the standard expected, neitlier contestaut being in her best form.
