TWO-YEAR-OLDS AT EPSOM
Chief interest in the training al Epsom 011 Tuesday was taken in a nuinber of two-year-olds .wlio are engaged in the Great. Northern Trotting Stakes (states "Abaydos"). The Cantcrbury representatives Sir Vivian,, Yours Truly and Maia, went nicely, while of the local candidates Albany's Pride, British Macliine, Heiidon and Wild Life pleased. All work was done on the dirt, which was covered with a lieavy coating of dust. Of the older horses, good efforts were registered by Nyallo Scott, Heliopoiis, Baby Grand, Caledpnian Gold, Snowflake, Quitc Happy, Characteristic, Toushay aud Red Ace. The last-named, Avho feil heavily on the road on Friday afteriioon and was unable to produce his true form on Saturday, hus made a good recovery. Local Gold, Sprayman and Symetra, looking bright after their success on the first day, were let oll with easy tasks.
