RUBBER SWIM SUITS BEAT ANTARCTIC COLD

Fifteen members of the Byrd Antarctie expedition's under-water deniolition team, were probably the lirst rnen to go swimming so near the South Pole, when they tried out speeial rubber suits for 21 minutes. There were no in.jurious physical effects. The demolition team also tested. various explosives on Antarctic ice. All the expedition's ships are ready to leave Little America possiblv tomorrow night. The Xavy's reeent discoveries in Antarctica turn present maps of Antarctica into waste paper, Xavy planes found 15,000 feet mountains where an ice-eovered sea is shown and a bav em pracing 20,000 square miles where mountains are marked.
