LUXBUN, Feb. 5. Wlien Xlr. B. J. Penfold, a London engineer, recentlv oifered to sell Stranger's Cav, a 400-acre island in the Btihamas about 110 miles from Palm Beach, he had over 200 offers and had to engage a speeial staff to d'eal with eorrespondence and inquiries. Xrr. Penfold, who acquired the island about nine months ago, states its onB inhabitdnts are 10 natives, who grow pineapples and live on turtles and game. Last year the island had bright sunshine on 360 days. The priee is in the vicinity of £6000 and pi'ospective purehasers range fron: wealthy, titled people to demobilisecl ex-servicemen.
