Baying he was not satisfied with the result of the reeent snooker match iu which Fred Davis beat him bxy 53 to 30 frames, Clark XIcGonachy yesterday told the Dailv Xlail he had challenged Davis to a return contest and was willing to back himself to win. XIcGonachy pointed out that in the Blackpool match he did not get going until it was too late but when he did he started winning frames and made a 132 break. It was also the Jirst time he had ever played a 73 frame match. 'fXly lortgest before that was 45 way back in 1932," he said.
