Received Sunday, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 2.. Between three and four inches of rain have fallen in many parts of the parched nortb-v/est of New Soutb. Wales, breaking the brougbt wbick has lasted inonths. Areas near Coonamble and Bourke are still stricken. In one hitherto drouglit stricken area a man was killed and two others injured when lightning struck a tent. Siieep which were dying of thirst a few hoiu's ago are in danger of being lost now through becoming bogged or waslied away by the sudden torrents.
