WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. "I believe in cooperative concerns but have never believed in monopoly," said the Leader of the Oppositiou, Mr. S. G. Hollaud, when referring to the attitude of the Government towards the establishment and control of cooperative trading in State housing areas. Mr. Holland added that he had bought a share at a function to which he had been invited in connection with the establishment of the Naenae Cooperative Society. However, he disapproved strongly of the principle of monopoly.
