WELLINGTON, Man. 29. Tlie-Uiiion Company's vessels Wingatui and Omana have been held up in port at Wellington for several days throjugh a shortage of crews. The Wingatui has been ih port since early December undergoing an extensiv'e overhaul compieted on Alonday. She was to have sailed on completion to reenter the Wellington-Westport coal trade. The Omana is engaged in the We'St Coast to Auckland eoal trade and was -to have sailed on Tuesday for VYestport. It is understood there are a number of unemployed sOamen available but they are not prepared to accept employment oii coastal . vessels. Most of tjiem are awaiting overseas slup's. •
