Received Wednesday, 11.55 p.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 29. An American record and possibly a world 's recoi " price for a hook, was paid for one of the eleven existing copies of the Bay FSalm Book published in 1640 and the first hook printed in the Anglo-American colonies. The hook brought 150,000 dollars when sold at auction on behaif of the Gertrude Vanderhllt Whitney Charitahle Trust and the proceeds go to a community hospital at Glencove, Long Island. - 4
