AIR DEPARTMENT'S INQUIRY INTO GIRL'S DEATH
Cir-cumstances m connection with the death of a 17-year-old girl, Miss Audrey Enid Gurr, of 113 Moxliam Avenue, Wellington, at the Palmerston North Hospital 011 December 23, allegedly following the extraction of some teeth by a dental officer of the Royal New Zea,land Air Foree station at Ohakea on December 22, were the subject of a Court of Inquirv conducted by the Air Department at Ohakea on Thursday and Friday of last week. The Officex Coinmanding the station stated last niglit that the terms of reference for the inquirv and the cotirt's flndings were strietly confidential to the Air Department and were not available to the" public. All reeords in connection with the inquiry had now been forwarded to Air Department in Wellington. The president of the Court was Group Captain C. C. Hunter, Officer Commanding the R.N.Z.A.F. station at Whenuapai, and with him were associated a medical officer and a dental officer.
