LEVIN BRIDE CHOOSES PINK

COLLINS— HALL WEDDING The marriage of Betty, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hall, of Oxford Street, Levin, to Howard Pax Holt-Collins, only son of Mrs. M. V. Colli-ns, of Makotuku, Hawke's Bay, took place recently at St. t Andrews' Roman Catholic Church, Levin, Rev. Father Lynch officiating. The bride wore a charming dusky pink frock with beaded trimming and navy accessories tc tone. Her head-dress of pink tulle was finished with a top knot of pink carnations. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss B. Inglis, of Palmerston North, a nursing friend of the bride, wore an egg-shell blue frock, with navy accessories and head-dress similar to the bride's. She carried a bouquet of pastel flowers. The flower girl, Jeanette Croom, of Wellington, wore stiffened floral organdie and carried a small posy. Mr. J. Eady, of Gisborne, was best man. The bride's mother was attired in an attractive black georgette frock and coat to match, trimmed with pink' silk velvet. She wore a wide black picture hat. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy patterned suit with navy accessories. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Druids' Hall, which was attended by 120 guests. For travelling the bride wore a honeycoloured heavy linen suit, with browh accessories, and carried a fur coat. The bride, who is in the nursing profession, was until recently a sister at the Public Hospital, Wellington.
