HUMAN BONES FOUND ON OTAKI BEACH
On Friday bones of a human body were found on the Otaki Beach, about five miles north of the Waitohu Stream, and were handed to Constable W. Calwell. This officeiy immediately made a further searcli and more bones were located. It isconsidered that the bones, with fiesh adhering, are the remains of a man, and enquiries are now being made by the police. It is probable the remains are those of a man drowned about two months ago.
