^ Personal Among the visitors to Otaki at the present time is Mr. . Ernie Irvine, of Auckland, for some years in business here. . Theft at Otaki A theft of mohey from a residence in Riverbank Road occurred in the early hours . of yesterday morning. The culprit was seen, but got away before being caught. Manakau Stock for China Mr. A. M. Atkins, of the Mahoe Stud, Manakau, has sold eight specially selected pedigree Ayrshire heifers and two- yearling Ayrshire bulls to the Government. This stock, which is 'of excellent quality, will |3e shipped to China next month. Sports at Otaki On Wednesday next sports will be held by the Otaki A.A. and C. Club on the domain. Entries are large and both cycling and running events should be keenly contested. Local athletes will have opposition from various outsiders, and will no doubt do their best to uphold the honour of their club. • Valuable memoriable cups will be competed for, while refreshments, etc., will be available.
