RUSSIAN SPIES IN AMERICA

Bussian espionage agents, including menibers of the N.Iv.V.D. seerot police, are opcrating on a wide scale inj-the United States, according 'to Kiril Alexeiev, a former member, of the Bussian Embassy in Mexico, who has outspokenly eriticised the Bussian furni of Government sinee deelaring he would never return to his liomolaud because he preferred Americau democraey. Mr. Alexeiev at a pross interview said Bussian agents wero espeeially interested in thc atoin boinb. He did not believe Bussia yet possessed the atom bomb, but her scientists were working assiduously to dis'cover the secrets of nuclear iission.
