AUCKLAND, Jan. ;M, An inquiry was held by the judicial committce of the Auckland Racing Club into the eligibility of Gold Watch to compete in hack races at the Auckland Eacing Club's summer meeting. It was found' that Gold Watch was not eligible for entrv in hack races and was aceordinglv disqualified for the Eobinson Handicap and the Fergusson Handicap The second prize money in the Eobiiison Handicap was awarded to Grand Tourist and the third money to Caihp Queen. The owner of Gold Watch (Mr. E. N Fitzgerald) was fined £50 for carelessness in nominating his horse in tliese races. being a breach of rule 179 (2) of the Eules of Eacing.
