PLANE BOOKINGS SLUMP
Reeeived Tuesday, ylidniglit LONDON, Jan. 14. A passenger traffic slump has hit the airlines, says tlie Daily Express. This is partlv a seasonal falling off, but tlie rising number of plane crashes is eausing people to cancel their bookings. There are 1200 available seats on 37 planes in ap average week at the Lore don airport, and for inore tlian a niontli fower than two-tliirds of the seats have been occupied.
