PASSENGER DIES AT SEA
AUCKLAND, Jan. 14. A passenger in the Largs Bay which has arrived at Auckland from'London died when the vessel was bet'ween Port Said and Aden. She Was Mrs. Mary Tsabella McT-Taffie, aged 76, who was travelling to New Zeaiand with her son, Dr. J. McHaffie, of Invercargill. Dr. McHaffie was a major in the Royal Army Medical Corps during the war. Mrs. -McHaffie had been in a nursing home in Britain for some months before the ship sailed and was taken on board oti a stretcher. She was buried at sea. Dh McHaffie 's wife and child accompailied him to NeW Eealand.
