WANGANUI, Jan. £). Oue person was killeil and two others injtired when a car overturned north oi Taihape, on the JMain North Rpad shortly after midday yesterday. The person killed avus Mr. Erederick James Savage, married, a farmer, ot Taneatua. The two persons iujured Avere Mr. an 1 Mrs. >S. Savage, also of Taneatua, l)0th of Avhom suffered coneussion. They wero vadmitted to the Taihape Hospital. and their condition last night was reported to be fair. It is understood the ehr was travelling north at the time of the aceident. The vehicle apparently became oxit of control, skidded o f'f the road and over tuMiod. Mr. F. J. Savage was dead beforo medical -aid could arrive. Tln* vehielcrwas ext-ensively damagod.
