RACING CUTTER COMPLETES TASMAN VOYAGE
AUCKLAND, Jan. 9. After a 12-day voyage aeross the Tasman the famous 54ft facing cutter Rawhiti dropped anchor in Akahu Bay, Auckland, this afternoon, conipleting the last stage of lier journey home from Sydney. The vessel, which was recent ly purchased by Mr- S. E. Marler, of Remuera, left Sydney on December 18 and Three Kings were sighted from the crosstrees in the late afternoon of December 28. She arrived at Russell on December 30 and since then has made a cruise of the Bay of.lslands.
