MR. OLIVER NATION
The death occurred at the Masterton Plospital on Sunday night of Mr. Oliver Nation. The -late Mr. Nation was born in England-in 1884 and came to New Zealand in- 1906. He settled in Alfredton where he engaged in farming, and had been connected in farming in the Wairarapa practically ever since. He was manager for Dr. C. P. Knight for a number of years. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 238 for the oast 22 years. Mr. Nation was highly respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters. The sons are Messrs William Nation (Masterton), (Albert (Eastbourne), and Howard (Featherston): The daughters a're Mesdames R. Pileher (Wellington), P. Russell (Masterton), and W. Allen (Petone). A daughter, Mrs. E. Tricklebank, died some time ago. The late Mr. Nation resided in Otaki for some time, having a butchery business here.
