OBITUARY

MRS. GEORGE McKINLEY. =

The many friends' of Mrs. George McKinley will regret to hear of her death, which occurred .shortly after 9 o'clock on Wednesday night. The deceased, who was- only- 29 vears of age, had, unfortunately, been very ill for the past two and a lialf years, but she bore her .ill^ ness with great fortitude, never complaining. The late Mrs. McKinley was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D:Hodges, of Otaki, and had- been a resident of the town for the past six years, during which time she made many friends by her bright and cheerful nature. She was educated at Wellington East Girls' College and proved an apt'pupil. A husband and iittle daughter, besiaes other relatives,- are left to mourn their loss. Much sympathy has been extended to the bereaved.
