Arrangements have been madn ' by the Otaki Railway Bowling Club "to allow the use of its green to the | ladies of Otaki to play on two rinks j three times each week. It is likely I that an application will be placed | before the Otaki Borough Council jto lay down a green for the ladies. Playing for the junior singles on the Otaki Railwav Bowling Club's green, Rusling beat Wilton 19 — 16, while in the senior Rich beat Hannah 23 — 20, and Bailey beat Booth 1 20 — 14. In the pairs _A- D- and T- 1 IWebster defeated Kelly and Sy- [ monds- -20 — 17. | The Levin Bowling Club has i completed arrangements for a one- | day tournament on Sundav next on it's green. A large number of visitors is expected from Wellington and Hutt Valley", while Otaki Railway players "and other district clubs have intimated that they will be present.
