WELL KNOWN JOCKEY'S HOME RANSACKED BY BANDITS
Eeceived Wednesday, 8.50 p.ui. SYDNEY, Jan. 8. Two armed and masked men last niglit field up tlie jockey Athol George Muiley"'s ltome at Marouba and stole diamonds, rings, jewellery and money to the total value of £1780. The men knocked at kthe door and presented pistols at Muliey's mother-in-laiv, Mrs. Dando, wlio a-nswered. They then forced their way info tlie liome, relieved tlie Mulleys and Dandos of valuabies and ransacked two rooins. The tliieves made their eseape in a tuxi aftei; loeking tlie oeoupants in the hou'se.Mulley, who is well-knovvn as tlie rider of Bernbor ugli, became f'rout page news when he married Juiie Dando last November with a lavish display of wealtli. He was recenlly suspended al the pleasure of tlie A-J-C. committee for undisclosed reasons.
