Cuiuinings) who said in Brisbane that by July only a month's eotlon stocks would reiuain above requireinents. The nornial reserve is six nionths ' supplv. AusLralia had been unalile to import its full requirements of cotton and textile goods and tlie prospects of more suplilies were negligible.
