He heard a rexiort and on returuiug found his wife with a btdlet wound in her liead. It is believed that Mrs. Allott took the J rifle by the muzzle and dragged it toI wards her and that Ihe trigger eaught on the end of tho chesterfield and the rifle disehargod.
