CHINA CLOSES SOIVET RADIO
Received Tuesday, 11.15 a.m. SHANGHAI, Jan. 6. The Chinese Government has closed the oniy Soviet radio station in China, known as "The Voice of the Soviet Union," despite diplomatie appeals by the Soviet Embassy at Nanking. On December 31 the Government ordered all radio stations to be closed in China except eighteen approved by the Government. Among those ordered to close was the French radio.
