(tOXSTJiVKRS ASKED TO SAV"fc Owing to the difficulty of obtaiiiing coal, ands the- fact that the Levin Borough Council's gasworks only has a day-to-day stoek, it becomes necessary to ask cohsumers to economise as. much as possible. in the use of gas, said. the chairman of the gasworks committee, Mr. F. E. Parker, this morning. Until the -coal posftion is more satisfasctory, added Mr. Parker, consuaners are asked to use- their gas fires as little as possible, and to watch the use of gas carefully in every direetion.
