The judge of the fancy costumes was Mrs. Spencer, of Levin, and her awards were made to the following: — Judith Collett (Goodnight), Margaret Taylor (Gipsy Girl), Allen Turner (Mexican), Nola Trotter (Sonja Henie), Bill Taylor (Gondolier), Jill Clark (Roller Skater) and Ian Mark (Boxer). Pairs: Ian and Nalda Cottle (Nigger Boy and Girl) and Judith and Jean Collett (Goodnight). Original: Buster Taylor (Swagger) and Ray Cottle (Lady's Purse).
