Received Sundav, 7 p.m. CANBERRA, Dec. 29. England's innings closed at eight wiekets for 465 in the match with New South Wales southern . districts. Rain this morning delaved play for 15 minutes and after. 30 minutes more rain, play was abandoned. A feature was Pollard 's bowling, 19 balls getting four wiclcets for two runs includihg three wiekets with Iive balls. Only a handful of spectators was present.
