DIETRICH BACK IN FILMS
Tired but happy that she is resuming her career in Hollywood, Marlene Dietrich recently arrived there from New York to start her co-starring role with Ray Milland in Paramount's "Golden Earrings." This will be her first American film appearance in three years. Miss Dietrich left Paris by aeroplane, immediately after compleoing a French picture with Jean Gabin. Since 1943 she has been entertaining troops at the front lines in various theatres of war and lecturing at the Army University in Biarritz. She will portray a fascinating gipsy fortune-teller in "Golden Earrings," which Harry Tugend is producing.
