\Y ISLINGTON, D oc. 26. Tbe formation of a women's bowling uentre in Wellington will be of great intoresl to women bowlers tliroughout New Zeahuul. The new centre lias been fornied tli rough the initiative of Miss NT. JV1. Thomson, who began the lirst women 's bowling club in Wellington, at Island Bay. . , %f , The foundatiou of the new centre is hased on six clubs whose delegates were as follow: — Paraparaumu, Mrs. T. Iv. Henderson; Island Bav, Mesdames W. \. McLean and E. W. Drake; Carterton, Mrs. A. M. Clarke; Seatoun, Mesdames G. Dnnn and V .Allan; Petone Central, Mesdames Stocklev and A. Berry; Kilbirnie, Mesdames J. Barnett and W. Wallace. It is oxpected that clubs from Miramar, Naenae and 3Iasterfon will aftiliate shortlv.
