Toheroas Plentiful Toheroas have been plentiful on the Otaki beaches and m' consequence large numbers have been secured. Otaki Brass Band ' The Otaki Brass Band enlivened proceedings in the town on Christfas eve by rendering several popular selections. The music was fully appreciated. Church Services Special services were held at All Saints' Church during Christmas and it was gratifying to know that all were sblendidly patronised. The Communion services were all well attended, probably proving a record. Canon Fry officiated at the various Anglican Churches. > Xmas Shopping The business people of Otaki without exception are well satisfied with the trade" done at Christmas time, their prices and the quality of goods being the attraction. The variety was also satisfactory. On Christmas eve there were many visitors to the town who freely indulged in shopping^
