The rcmaining denominations of tlie pictorial stamps will be withdrawn from sale on April 30. They will be replaced on Mav 1 by King Gcorge VI stamps of the following values: 2d, 4d, 5d, 6d, 8(1, 9d, ls, Is 3d, 2s and 3s. Consequentlv a complete set of stamps bea-ring portraits of King George VI will tlien be on s'ale. A new value of the King George VI series, ,1s 3d, will replaee the current duty stamp of that value: ■ The ls, ls 3d, 2s and 3s denominations will be in two colours, and the other values will be single colour stamps. No special arrangements are being made by tlie Post Offic§-for lirst-dav covers for tlie remaining values of ' the King George VI issue, as four deuomina . tions are already 011 sale.
