CLUB LADDER MATCHES The following competition ladder matches have been played at the local courts during the past week: — Miss C. Burke defeated Miss P. Small 7 — 6, Mrs. Higgie defeated Mrs. Wishart 7 — 4. In a match for the Mitchell Pins, played on Tuesday evening, Mrs. Pope and K. Batt defeated Mrs. Higgie and C. Booker 40 — 29. The present position "of the club ladder is:— Men: K. Batt, K. Thomson, C. Booker, A. Peni, V. Robinson and R. Symonds. Ladies: Miss K. Nepia, Mrs. S. L. Graham, Mrs. Jones, Mrs-. Rassmussen, Mrs. Higgott and Mrs. Peni.
