Dean Lesser, wlwj is at present in Kngland, was a mvmbi'r of the Fitxwilliam Hall, Cambridge, where he took his H.Av iti, 1923 and M.A. in 1927. lle weut t'o Jiidloy Hall (theological eollege) in Cambridge in 1923 and was ordained deueon in 19-5 and priest in 192(3 in tlie Liverpool diocese where he held assis4 tant euracies and olher otliees until in 1931 he was appointed viear of tho parish of St. dohu the Kvangelist, Bar-row-in-Furness. In 1939 he went to Nairobi as sub-deau of the C'atliedral and in 1942 became dean. JDean Lesser is eordialiy eonnuended by C'anon MeLeod Campbejil, seeretary of the Missionary (,'ouncil of the C'hurch and Assenibly in London, and by Bishop llulland, formerly of Wellington. Dean* Lesser has advised that he is leaving Liverpool for Nairobi to lnind over and will take the lirst available ship for New Zealand. Dean Lesser is inarried and has a duughter 13 years of age.
