South Wales in the Sheffield Sliield match, takiug t'our wickets for 183. In reply to South Australia's lirst inning's total of 003 New South Wales knocked up 041 (Lukeman 118, Lusli 41). Dooland took 4 wickets for 173, Noblet 2 for 57 and Gibsoti 2 for 7T. South Australia lost no wickets for iive in the second innings. Tedious stonewalling characterised the follow-on by Queensland in the Sheffield Shield match against Yictoria. Yictoria is almost certain of an outiright win on Mondav. Scores: Queensland, second innings, 8 for 237 ( A£,ackay not out 55, Carrigan 48, Rogers 42) Johnston took 3 wickets for 34, Jiuks 3 for 05, and Loxton 2 for 40.
