AUSTRALIA'S SWIMMING HOPE
Received Thursdav, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 19. The former Australian and State swimming champiun, M iss Gwen Millard, holder of the Australian baekstroke record, is returning to comjietitive swimming and will be Australia's main hope, against the New Zealauder, .Miss Ngaire Lane, who will compete in the New South Wales and Australian chamjiionships. Over four years ago Miss Millard announced her retirement owing to ill health.
