DRIVE AGAINST COMMUNISTS IN TURKEY
Received Thursday, 11.30 a.m. ISTANBUL, Dec. 18. The police in an anti-Communist drive arrested or are -watching sixty people. They searched the offices of two suppressed political parties and found codes in French, Russian and other languages. The parties are the Spcialist Party of Workers and Peasapts of Turkey and the Socialist Party of Turkey. The police also seized documents of the Progressive Youth Organisation of Turkey. The anti-Communist measures have been extended to other towns.
