Personal Mrs. J. F. Nicolson, of Waimate, is at present m Otaki on holiday. • Miss B. Swabey has -returned to Otaki from Paraparaumu. Mr. Frame leaves for Christchurch by plane this week to spend a holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Davies leave today for their annual vacation, which will be spent in the North. Mrs. Beauchamp has returned to Otaki after a three months' holiday at Patea. Bob, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Capewell, who has been in England for some time, is expected to arrive in Otaki shortly after Christmas. Miss McGreavy, of the Otaki State School staff, will spend her holidays in Christchurch, while Miss Kebbell will visit Auckland and Dargaville. Misses B. and L. Young, of Christchurch, are spending the holidays with General and Mrs. Young, Tasman Beach. The death occurred'this morning of Mr. Ken Taylor, a well-known and highly respected resident of Otaki, in his 53rd year. The late Mr. Taylor, who leaves a wiaow aiia family of three, has been in indifferent health for some time.
