FEDERATED FARMERS
POPULAR MEMBER FAREWELLED Following the usual business at the monthly meeting of the Shannon branch oi Federated Farmers, held in Laurvig's Hall reeently, Mr. J. P. MeNeile, president of the branch, took the opportunity to bid farewell to Mf. W. J. Mullins, who iias reeently left the district. In his remarks Mr. MeNeile spoke in highly appreciative terms of the loyal support which Mr. Mullins had accorded the Federated Farmers and the Farmers' Union, and wished both lie and Mrs. Mullins every happiness in their new tiome. Several members endorsed Mr. McNeile's remarks and all joined in extending sincere thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Mullins for the excellent work they had done during the years they had been connected with the Farmers' Tlnion and Wonien's Division. Mr. Mullins expressed pleasure for anything he had been able to do in connection with the local branch, and sineerely thanked the members for their kind remarks. • Mr. Mullins wished the branch every success ni the future.
