Persorial Mr. and Mr'sV Tom. Boon and family left yesterday afternoon by ear on the first stages of ' their -trip to. Tuai, where- they are to reside in the future-. • During the time Mr. and ' Mrs: Bodfi' were at Mangaore tiiey made ' many friends, who all regret le'avihg the district. Sharirion , extends a welcome to Mr/ and Mrs.; G. Fitzgerald, formerly of Otorohanga. Mr. Fitzgerald has jo'ined the staff of the Bank. of New Zealand. Farewell Gatiiering BeveraL friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Picard on Saturday evening to attend a farewell social extended to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Boon by Messrs: F. and V. Picard. A delightful evening was spent and Mrs. Picard provided a most enjoyable home-made supper.
