AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. The tftan who rescned his workmate from the top of the ladder after tlu latter had been electrocnted wh e'n he came into contact with the 460-vob power line, died at his liome tonight He was Basil T. Speer, aged about 43 electrieal foreman entployed by tlu Auckland Citv Council. Mr., Speer also asStsted wfth the artificial respiration which failed to revive the injured man. Mr. Speer was today showing signs of the strain ke had been through.
