Asked to comment 011 the report from Wellington publishcd in the Daily Mail, that the British Government, according to a well informed sourcc, has urged New Zealand to seud an expedition to the Antarctic to reach tho Ross Sea dependency in advance of Admiral Byrd's expedition,- a Dominion Ofiiee spokcsman said: ''We have uothing to say. The ' territory eoncorned belongs to New Zealand and it is for the New Zealand Government to make an announccmeiit if necessary and not for the British Government." It is understood that so niucli interest has been aroused in England by the report and so many inquirios made, that a statoment by the New Zealand Government would be vvelcomed.
