LAX MORALS IN SCHOOLS
W ■ Received Sunday, 8 p.m. HOBART, Dec. 15. Pornograpliic pamplilots and npde photographs of tcen-age girl pupils, have been seized by the police from students- at Hobart secondary schools. The police are investigating the formation in schools of illegal clubs of which both bovs and girls are members. Several members of the clubs have already ueen eypebod from the sehools. The clubs operate on a points' systein by whieh members are awarded points according to the extont of their reJatiqns with meiubers of the opposite sex. The headquarters of one club has lieen discoy'ered in a city milk bar where members assenibled almost overv afternoon to exchange pamphlets and ])hotographs. The Premier, j\lr. Cosgrove, who ordered tlm police inquiry, blames general wartime laxity and sensational newspapers, pcriodicials and Jilins. Contact jietween similar clubs in Tasmania and Victoria has been revealed and an inquiry ordered in Victoriau secondary schools.
